AMERICA WAS MADE FOR A MORAL PEOPLE

The Constitution protects us from our worst enemy…ourselves

The election of 2020 will go down in American history (what left of it there may be) as the beginnings of a dark age setting upon the land.

John Adams, one of the Founders and architects of our founding documents once said, “Our constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”

James Madison, another of the Founders said that our Constitution requires “sufficient virtue among men for self government.” Otherwise, “nothing less than the chains of despotism can restrain them from destroying and devouring one another.”

The American Experiment, as it’s fondly called, was the first of its kind in how a people could govern themselves. No need for a monarchy, feudal lordships, dictators, etc. Only the need to acknowledge that men are created by a Creator, and as such, have rights and liberties provided by that Creator and that all men should give heed to this as a creed to live by. In the mind of the Founders, this was the necessary ingredient for a government for the people and by the people. Without it, the system would fail.

Post-election, as leftist evangelicals succumb to the evils of the devil, I implore all Americans to give heed, as the Founders would have wanted, to their writings on God and the necessity of His righteousness in order for our country to function as they intended. What they wrote is almost prophetic when observing the catastrophe that is our political system today.

Within 72 hours of being elected, Joe Biden and his administration have signed executive orders, spearheaded policies, and appointed people that promote racism, divide people, make the wholesale killing of babies something to be admired, steal from the American people, and put Godless and mentally disturbed people in charge of the health of our citizens.

Despite political parties, our government can only function when politicians stand on truth above everything else, and believe in God’s greatest commandments – to love God with everything we have and love our neighbor like we love ourselves. Our politicians today are wholly against these religious principles. Their driving force is their hunger for power and nothing more. This should give all Christians pause. But instead, we see the church giving in…and why? Because for too long the church has also been about more power.

Christians everywhere, if you are true followers of Jesus Christ, need to preach the Gospel everywhere and all the time. Make sure the Gospel is being preached throughout your local communities and work to strengthen your brothers and sisters in Christ. Tough times are upon us and we are about to go through a refining fire.
